For the love of god someone please help

I just bought this game and already want to refund it because of this but I’m already well past the time limit. I am stuck on the steel imp offensive in the beginning quest line. Every time I go to talk to cliff he says he’s still working on the strategy and tells me to talk to Jaime who has nothing for me. It says I need to complete the seasoned veteran before I can do this quest which I have done. I try to forfeit the quest and it says it can’t find the quest data. Someone please help

For Steel Imp Offensive you have to kill Steel Imps outside the Western Guard Camp.

Yes. That is the quest. The issue is that I can’t start it not that I can’t complete it.

Press O > Click the "Main" tab > Uncheck "Hide completed quests" > Click on [Boss] Red Nose: Engulfed in Darkness

Do you see "The seasoned veteran" completed? I just tested it on a new character and I was able to get the steel imp offensive quest. Worst case scenario is that somehow it got bugged for you.
