Honestly I don't look anymore. I've found a corner of the bdo world that I'm happy with and a guild to go with it and I'm golden -- hope you find your answers and stay with it my friend <3

it's the swipe effect or just being lucky. Everyone that you watch is more likely outside the soft cap ranges.

To be honest though you can literally be lucky with dark rift bosses and get duo and one tap it for tri accs. They are relatively cheap too (except for tungrads).

average i dont know but softcap is still a pretty good goal to aim at - tet boss gear tri yellow acc´s

and ofc players who play all the time will always be ahead of others which invest less time or even quit for several months u shouldnt be supposed to be "close" or even at their gearscore + streamer also tend to have the higher gear then average peeps cos why would anyone watch some streamer who has less gear then them

I really want to like this game. Can you tell me what your corner is and what your guild is like?

i feel sorry for new players coming into the game i wouldnt even bother there not going to catch up just go explore the world or whatever dont even bother trying to be competive it aint gunna work i played for nearlly 2 years with breaks here and there breaks due to being worn out and im still 60 ap behind the average streamer i dont even know how u can compete sure i know my class but with 220 ap the devs need stop incraseing the gearscore and have it a standstil so everybody is equal then it comes down to how skilled the player is otherwise its going to put players off im loving the xbox version and i hope it doesnt head the same way pc has

The most common misconception is that you have to "Keep up" With somebody. You do you. There will always be someone stronger than you, and when your maxed out. There will always be someone more skilled than you. Catching up is a goal. It takes time and it doesn't happen in a day. Also there are people who have mutiple charecters, so that lets me know getting stronger shouldn't be that big of a deal either. If you're enjoying the game that is.

I found a life skill I loved and that made money eventually. It gave me confidence to explore more of the game and challenge myself to do the things in game that I previously thought I would not be able to do. Finding a guild that was geared towards all areas and is open and helpful was key for me. Find something you love in the game and find the people who do it best. if they have videos - watch them... If they belong to guilds open up to them and see if you can join. I am a part of Hooters. Good luck!! <3

Most streamers you see are part of a PvP eccentric guild and it is NOT the average gearscore of all players.

The soft cap 253 (nouver) can still kill a player slightly above it. The high GS players just have a much better margin of error compare to someone under the 261 AP cap.

261 (I think) just gives a huge AP bonus compare to the 253 number.

This is why I like Pre-Awakening better. Getting to 130 AP is easy.
