Game is confusing

I honestly don't know what's going on. The game runs easy but everything feels really cluttered. I keep getting marketplace spam at the top of my screen. The questing is really hard to understand and took me an hour to find out how to navigate. I have a lot of items I don't know what to do with. So far the story doesn't make sense to me. Idk what the smoke guy is even about, is it like a zelda fairy or something??

It gets easy to understand with all the nonstop notifications, that isn't something to worry about. The thing you should worry about is the RNG because it's brutal and will eat you and your wallet alive. I spent $520 total on this game. I still am releatively weak in PVP. I don't take advantage of the afk bot system (which is stupid, and will make your electric bill even more expensive ontop of burning your cash trying to defeat the inconvenient systems and RNG, also outfits because all the in game armor is ugly and look the same).

I'd only recommend this game if you are willing to pump out hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, and if you want to take pvp seriously, this game will be like a second job except you gotta toss thousands at it, including your electric bill hitting the roof from all the afk level and money making.

TL;DR The game is designed to take as much money out of you before you quit. This is how the game was built. If you aren't a rich kid or make tons of money from your job, it's simply not worth it unless you enjoy supporting developers who do this.

The game is flashy eye candy, but is not worth it at all! It preys on your psychology more hardcore than mobile app games with microtransactions. This game by far asks for too much money and gives little back to you. They invest your money in more shaddy business tactics and actions.

They could care less about creating a fair and honest base game with the money you pump out to them. Read my original thread, and read the links i've provided which are from the official community itself. We are very vocal everywhere... Once you spend a considerable amount of money it makes it harder to quit. The developers are by far the biggest problem with me, how they treat the community and how they listen to sales/data and let 3rd parties deal with all complaints, they have been silent since release.

You will never ever be a top contendor in open world PVP unless you spend over $200, and dedicate a lot of time to lifeskilling and making sure your character is doing stuff while you afk. You can be either sleeping, eating, or over a friends house, you want to make sure your character is doing stuff so they provide you with in-game bots. You level up your stamina, horse, cooking, fishing, weight, etc through afk bots, and you spend particular days or nights using the afk bots.

I honestly wish i knew the game was gonna be like this it would have saved me a lot of money! $520 gone! Spent on developers would give 2 craps about me or the community. There are also dead classes which people don't play anymore! The developers have been silent for more than half a year a now since they completely murdered and killed a handfull. They just pump out new classes and hope you stop playing the class you just spent your life savings on so you can do it all over again!

You spent thousands of hours through leveling, spent hundreds or even thousands of $$$ training your skills, building up gear score? How about we nerf your class until it's completely dead and add pearl shop items to encourage you to buy and play on our new classes! When the weapon exchange ticket came out, people were laughing and making fun of kakao for that. Players are still furious and asking for the developers to address the old classes which were left to rot! Nothing! Not one peep! Not one word! It's now 2019! NOTHING! They are got more classes on the way too! And if this is how they handle things expect more classes to receives nerfs when the new ones release(I'm not joking or exaggerating the business tactics too, if you don't believe me watch popoular black desert youtubers, they'll they tell you straight up!)




I'm telling you this to save you sanity, your money, and your time. Don't be like us! We got trapped! Some of us accept it, some of us are left in a permanent state of shock of the corruption. Game is beautiful though such a shame that it ended up in the most corrupt hands ever! This game had amazing potential and it will never be brought out! Save yourself and DO NOT JOIN! This is the biggest warning i have ever told anyone. And im a huge gamer especially for mmorpgs. I've played mmorpgs since final fantasy 11 when it first came out, world of warcraft, eve, all the guild wars, and many free to play mmorpgs.

This game is the biggest "GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY RIGHT NOW!" that i have ever seen in my flipping life! You are legit better off playing a subscription based game! Like world of warcraft or final fantasy 14! GW2 still has a decent population, or heck even play elder scrolls. If you aren't a rich kid or have a good paying job do not play! You are better off saving your money and spending your time being productive than playing this game!

Also if you were russian and played the game they shut down the servers. Imagine all your time and money being deleted with the snap of your fingers!

Imagine how you would feel knowing you spent insanes amount of money and time to just have it deleted. Business plans are more important and greater than the players. That's the developers logic in my honest opinion! And if it's not it sure as heck doesn't feel like it to me and a considerately large amount of the community.


If you bought it on steam you should be able to get refund, if you bought it on their website and have actually launched the game you aren't eligable for a refund as they make sure you accept to waiver your rights to a refund before you even play the game. Literally! One of their biggest business plans is to take as much money from you as possible before you leave!


I don't deal with Korean mmorpgs as i had major problems with blade and soul. My account and many others were hacked and they emptied peoples bank accounts. They made me go negative $300. I had to fight my bank to get it back and i won by recording the customer service messages. My bank found that they were not professional and prevented me from stopping the scam before it the transaction went through. Then each customer service rep was a different person each day delaying the process as i had to reexplain things constantly! On reddit they found an exploit that you could bypass the security system and get access to the account without an email confirmation.

I WILL NEVER TOUCH ANOTHER KOREAN MMORPG EVER AGAIN! They are flashy and cool! but come with too many risks, and too many shaddy business practices.

It actually happened to a lot of people on april 2016! Many people had their accounts busted in and their bank accounts cleaned out!!! Even the users on reddit were affected and talking about it!

The moderators deleted my pictures. I censored my bank account information but showed the bank statements, and showed proof that my email account wasn't hacked into with the log gmail provided. They broke in through their own website without having to do the 2step verifcation. Korean MMORPGS are money over everything including security for the gamer! Do not do it! I do not want to see other players go through what me and many others have and had to go through!


I'd say either play from a trustworthy mmorpg developer, square enix or blizzard, or the people who created guild wars/elder scrools, or none! Not worth it at all. This is from a long time dedicated MMORPG player who has been playing since he was a kid(i'm a 90s kid)! I'm in my early 20s now. My biggest warning to save players from having a massive headache later on.
