Afk fishing worth it?

My plan is too grind while active and fish when afk but the money seems terrible for fishing is it even worth it? I do have the +5 fishing balenos +10 rod and what not still need to level my fishing a little skilled 2 atm. But it still seems it isnt even worth doing. Mabye im doing it wrong? Or is there another life skill that is easy to set up for money when im afk.

It's mostly for crystal frags (1m). Iirc, at artisan level, it starts dropping conch shells worth 2.5m. Afaik, you can't harpoon fish unless you level it up, so might as well keep at it. Harpoon fishing can give stuff worth 50m iirc.

I think it goes for all of the lifeskilling that it is hardly worth the effort untill your character reaches a decent skill level, thats my experience anyway. You need to invest time in your character and the lifeskill before it becomes decent and more profitable. Grind through the lower levels to reach bigger profit p/h, it will get better eventually. I am not so sure if fishing as a lifeskill is the most profitable one to do though. My guess is that gathering/cooking/crafting is more profitable, but you should go for what you like doing as a lifeskill.

God yes do it if you dont mind you game and PC running I sett all the setting on my game to the lowest and turn my pc to power saving mode and let them sit you can make a good amount of money doing that

From what I have exspearanced cutting trees down is the best I make 100mill to 150mill an hr on average just yesterday I had a good long session and made 2.1Bill I make more silver choping tree than farming mobs but ugg I can only do this when there magic axes in market
