Kuku Bird/Hatchling Pet barely usefull to USELESS!!

Oki so prior to the latest patch or one of the games sneak updates the Kuku Pet that most players have had Resource Detection as it "Speciality". - This skill was relatively usefull as Pet Skills go.
This was so especially if one found oneself in an area where some other player had already gathered. You didn't have to run futiley from possible resource node to resource node finding nothing and just giving up. Your Kuku would guide you.

Now all of a sudden the Kuku's Special has been changed to "Hostility Detection" which for me is absolutely useless seeing as I already have better pets then the Kuku for that and furthermore I have never ever had any use for it.

I have read thru the latest Patch Notes finding no mention of this change and I find myself along with the many other issues prevalent in BDO starting to reach my limit in annoyances..

Absurd as to how the Kuku Bird Hatchling is near to breakíng the Camel's back!!

Kuku has always been Hostility Detection...

Yeah got mine when I started playing BDO around May, same time as the Lahn Event started.
Rolled a Valkyrie at start then found out about the Lahn and choose to go with that.

So most I can say was that my Kuku Hatchling was born ;) in late May of this year. Oddly its not grown any noticeably in size n such just lost its only usefull skill..

I matched 3 Kutu at lv10 & made a Tier 3.

Special Hostility is the base skill

Other skills that are very useful come with it:
-Karma Recovery+3%
-Combat EXP +3%
-Higher Grade Knowledge Gain +3%

^^ Special: Hostility Detection -- For yours -- and you also upgraded it.
I have not upgraded mine since it was the only Kuku I ever acquired and prior to this week its skill was resource detection pretty sure I didn't imagine a beam of red light marking resources all over everytime I had it out.

i noticed a change too in mine. I only have one and before it's special was ressource detection (it pinged the ressources for the tool i had equiped). now it's ostility detection but it still seems to be pinging ressources :s

Has anyone a clue in what's happening? isn't that just an error in the text? Because mine does not ping enemies at all.

LOL - That sounds beyond funny I dont know if mine detects hostility either but then I haven't tried it more then for 20 mins or so after it stopped working for resources last week..
What can have happened with it with todays patch (Or prior) I have no clue but if yours still pings resources id say you where lucky.

Wish I was that lucky myself. I am just about to launch the game again after todays patch and first thing I will do is check if my mini kuku has changed any.

Sadly mine seems to not ping resources at all anymore if I pings on "Hostility" I am still trying to figure out.. sounds more like some form of PvP detection to me since its not pinging on PvE monsters as far as ive seen but i will keep testing.

Sad, that bird was useful when it had resource detection. Mine worked as the above folks.

I mean... "Special: Hostililty detection" seems pretty useless. If i don't know that something is going to attack me... then I should just quit gaming altogether. I really don't need it to "ping" mobs that will attack me. If they're going to keep this on the bird, then i vote to just remove the special altogether. At least it can still pick up items, and has it's passive bonuses.

Yep, now mine does not ping ressources anymore.
I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about detecting other players or being pk. I just don't care about pvp. Why did they do that? :'(
