game over for me due to the horrible and ultra expensive upgrading system

This is my story right now.

i wanted to try the new class Guardian out. everything good so far

I got her to level 56, was having a blast while leveling her. mostly via quests and really taking my time without rushing anything.

Now i hit a huge wall with no way to bypass at least i spend 70 euros or so buying in game silver from one of those shady sites . where do i start? i cant afford buying better equipment because everything is ultra expensive and even if you have the money to buy. there are too many people ordering the same item so due to the high demand. there are too few offers and prices are for the whales only to afford.

then found out that to upgrade a Kzarka weapon to Tri would cost almost the same as buying it with those absurdly expensive prices.

I really wanted to play the game again but seems i was right when i first quit years ago due to the same issue with gear. now iam stuck with a guardian class char that i love but cant do crap with her because she has a crap equipment.

this game is very Frustrating.

and you even consider going to Illegal silver selling sites to reach this point

first, you don't need to spend 70 euro's to buy in game silver from shady sites, thats actually stupid cause it could be a scam. What you could do is buy costumes, outfits and sell em directly in the market for money. you also make it sound like its impossible to earn money in BDO, if thats the case then i will have you know you are playing the game wrong.
just because the market is overflooded doesn't mean its impossible to get the gear you want. I managed to get a rosar battle axe and a rosar shield even when both had 352 offers on it, i wonder how "impossible" THAT was. And its completely normal for people for people to order the same item at the same time, you are not the only one in BDO to take a liking to the guardian class... smh just because you couldn't get what you wanted for the first time doesn't mean you go around ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how bad the game is, be PATIENT, thats what i did to better my gear.
second. So you bought the game for 5 bucks and then thought you could play forever without spending a dime. Well yes you can, but your progress will be slow and inefficient. You need value packs and you need at least 1 premium outfit for your main character. After that you need to develop alt-charcters for lifeskilling giving them lifeskilling gear and grind your behind off for several months. And then after doing that you can think about slowly upgrading the gear of your main character.

Welcome to the world of MMOs where you can't have everything you want NOW. I know that is the generation of gamers we have right now, but the hard truth is you can't have the best right away. It takes time. If you don't like it then maybe shorter single player games are more up your alley.

If you don't want to buy beer, which can save you a lot of silver. Because you need to feed workers beer for them to keep working. You can easily set up a node system that farms out ingredients for beer. Then cook them up at your house in a cooking utensil. You'll likely make more beer than you'll need which can be sold well and rather quickly.

You can also go into the pet food market if you got enough contribution to spare. Managing and marketing Organic Pet food to those big timers prancing around with five pets at a time. Well, they need to eat and it's a item in constant demand. Again, Worthy sales at hasty rates.

Altho, I myself don't much play this game much anymore. I used to hop on every other month to mess around in trollolol PvP. I was provably part of the reason Olivia is PvE only now. Because I kept killing too many people.You know, that guy that kept shooting AFK fishers from a boat with my megaman zerker cannon, grabbing people and zerker jumping off cliffs in suicide slams, breaking people's carts for lulz, and then thrashing them the entire time while demanding they join my guild or die but then charging them an insane penalty if they leave so I could basically have robbed them of silver? That was me and I enjoyed every second of it. -karma forever baby!

well im doing the main quest atm. managed to get some grunnil or whatever is called armor to tri , miss the gloves. and got some Azule rings wich helped alot. the weapon and shield however are very crappy. havent been able to find a Rosar axe to try and enhance to 15.

I've literally rarely upgraded my own gear except to hit TET on my Dande, Muskans and Nouver. All of my other gear I bought directly from the market because I got tired of enhancing.

And since you're playing the class that literally just came out, yeah it's going to be hard to get gear for her for the first bit. After her awakening comes out most people will probably list the gear they used back to the market because they'll be done with the events for her.

Patience helps a lot in this game.

The best thing I could give you is, not just “git gud” but if you knew the class was coming and wanted to try it maybe prepare for it and have enough to get tet or tri. I got my zarka axe to tet no problem as well as nouver. But I’ve been preparing for it since the announcement

Don't realy understand the problem . Spent a couple of hours today farming the hell out of rhutums . got abunch of bares axes pushed one upto tri before I ran out , got an ultimate reform stone off the market for 71/2 mil .and now have a tri ultimate bares for next to nothing . tomorow it will be pen . No its not a zarka but its not far off it . they also drop fairly good armor . if you put a bit of effort in you can get all for not a lot . plus you making silver at the same time .
