Singleplayer BDO
Heya GMs and Devs reading this, I was just wondering if there is a way I can pay you guys to let me play your game w/ no other players on the same server with me? Like a singleplayer server or just have the game on my PC, or hell open it up like ARK did and let people pay for server hosting online.

Because, well, basically humanity is awful and I'd rather not have to deal with any of them...but I still think your game is pretty damn sweet with great graphics and implementation...it would just be absolutely exceptional without anyone else to clutter up my gaming experience.

So with all of that being said...

Singleplayer when? You could even still make truckloads of money with the already implemented pearl shop, Cthulu knows I'd give you guys money for stuff even if I don't have to "fight anyone in PVP".

Thanks!

Edit - Well, GM answered so there it is folks. As many of us know, the PVP is broken in the game and with no options of PVE only...well, time to find a different MMO I s'pose. And yeah, I know what a MMO is Richter, I've been playing them for literally over 2 decades now...and let me tell you, I've watched the community slowly become super trolls over the years. Things are way different than they were in EQ, FFXI, DAOC and WOW Vanilla.

Sorry Grimm,

BDO is an MMO which means you are always connected to thousands of players. As far as a singleplayer mode, we dont have any plans for this type of gameplay.

Haha, they've pretty much always hated their players...must be a Korean thing, I guess? Wonder what's going on this time...for all my "trash talk" I haven't played the game in months. I really want to give the Lahn a try, but not touching this game again until there's a "PVP Off" mode.

I've found the easiest way to avoid other folks in this is to pick a server further down the list when you first log in.
The majority of people seem to like to stick with the 'growth' servers.

Lol...well, it wasn't always like this, when MMOs first got off the ground there were a lot of fun folks to meet, but now...nope, kids these days just don't know how to act anymore.
RotherHans Jun 28, 2018 @ 6:58pm
Very True.
It´s also a bit luck what kiddies you meet. :blankbs:

Though I´m almost sure it´s also lot of old farts like me who simply stopped giving a f#&k anymore, letting their inner Mr.Hyde out. :steammocking:

Aion had the ideal structure for an open world PVP game that wasn't simply a troll fest. I guess it probably still does but they've ruined everything else about that game so badly that I stopped pretending it was still a fun game years ago.

Hi, guys. Since the topic is about single player, is it possible to enjoy the game without relying on the multiplayer nature of this game?

I stopped playing FFXIV because there were quests where I was forced to queue with other players to play, which took some time to find a party just to finish the quests.

Though I still love being surrounded by online players, I always want to play MMOs alone or with my irl friends.

BDO is one of the most solo MMOs there is, no queuing, only fighting for grinding spots(and other forms of pvp).
