What is a node and how do i continue on tutorial?
Hello. I just started playing this game and it looks really great. BUT, im stuck on the tutorial. And the tutorial dosen't show how to manage nodes. It says '' The preceding node needs to be connected before you can invest''.

They don't show anywhere in the tutorial where it is so that's why i ask here.

Google "BDO node map" if you want an overall idea of how the nodes are connected. You can even select to show gathering locations, or plan out trade routes or worker routes. Major cities are "free" nodes, and everything else costs 1 to 3 contribution points to invest in.

If you have one of the special packs activated (like the 30 day or 7 day) you can invest in nodes directly from the map (it costs energy). Otherwise you have to talk to the node manager to invest in nodes and in the sub-nodes where your workers can work and gather things for you. And some nodes have "hidden" excavation sites that you can't see on the map until you talk to the node manager about them.

Workers have a home town, and can only work at nodes that are connected to that home. The items they gather will go into that town's storage. You can gather far away from their home if it's all connected but the gathering time will be higher the further the worker has to travel. Trade works the same way. You can buy trade items from trade managers that look like backpacks or can be carried by your horse or wagon, or sometimes while fighting or gathering you'll acquire trade items that don't weigh you down like the backpack items do. Fish can be sold as trade items too. If you have a chain of nodes connected you can take an item from one place to another and you'll get paid more the further those nodes are.

If you're new definitely utilize your online resources. Whatever you want to know just google "BDO ____" and it should pop up. Personally I have the somethinglovely Node Map and the incendar Master Nodes List bookmarked on my phone so I can look things up easily while playing.

I also click on the '' Previous node'' button but the map just zoomes out and sets a line to a new location, when i click on that it says Previous node again. It's like a endless loop.

u need the node closes to the city 1st. then connect the next closest one and so on. when u click on a node it will show you wich one it can connect to but you cant invest if the closest node isnt connected from one of the city.

Also once you click on node you can invest in production in that node (where available). So once there's chain of nodes from a town/city, invest in the production and you can set workers to it.

By the way, after you invest/withdraw investment you may need to exit map/node management and return so it shows right amount of points you have.
In some cases it shows you have points to use which you've actually used already.
