In some cases it shows you have points to use which you've actually used already.
I tried to ''set up'' a node in a city but it just tolk be to ''The preceding node needs to be connected before you can invest''.
I let here a video to know to how invest in nodes.

Thanks, i will look at this one :)
If you have one of the special packs activated (like the 30 day or 7 day) you can invest in nodes directly from the map (it costs energy). Otherwise you have to talk to the node manager to invest in nodes and in the sub-nodes where your workers can work and gather things for you. And some nodes have "hidden" excavation sites that you can't see on the map until you talk to the node manager about them.
Workers have a home town, and can only work at nodes that are connected to that home. The items they gather will go into that town's storage. You can gather far away from their home if it's all connected but the gathering time will be higher the further the worker has to travel. Trade works the same way. You can buy trade items from trade managers that look like backpacks or can be carried by your horse or wagon, or sometimes while fighting or gathering you'll acquire trade items that don't weigh you down like the backpack items do. Fish can be sold as trade items too. If you have a chain of nodes connected you can take an item from one place to another and you'll get paid more the further those nodes are.
If you're new definitely utilize your online resources. Whatever you want to know just google "BDO ____" and it should pop up. Personally I have the somethinglovely Node Map and the incendar Master Nodes List bookmarked on my phone so I can look things up easily while playing.
