i'm pretty sure something is off.... it's looking like upscaling option is on, even when it's off..
another thing i notice is i can't change some settings they automaticly revert on restarting the game... always start on "low power mode" and some more...
i'm pretty sure this game should be able to draw straight lines... but the jagginess is everywhere... every stair, every building everything is looking like a chainsaw... nvidia panel settings doesn't apply and changing to 4K resolution even doesn't help it... but when looking at players pictures, some streams & videos the game look good....
The game has been updated quite frequently lately. Have you tried just doing a fresh install? I find that it usually fixes most issues that I have with all of my games.
You see, if you tinker with the Settings option from the title screen, they WILL reset when you load into the game. This is a bug.
However, use the Settings when you're actually in-game instead. ; ) Put everything on their highest settings, High-end mode and all.
Lastly, use the 'Depository' feature, press 'esc' and the tab is on the bottom right. Upload your settings and download them when you need them or play on a different PC.
Ahh, I never change my settings at the menu which would certainly explain why he's having the issue. I'll send a message to our admin to see if he knows anything about this bug.
This was the reply from the GM.
It is true that this can happen at times, usually when your Cache folders are corrupted. The resolution to this is simple; deleting your UserCache folder will clear up your old settings, and allow you to set new ones up without them being lost. Instructions can be found below:
• Close your game client.
• Delete the UserCache folder in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Black Desert directory.
• Delete the Cache folder in your game installation folder.
Note that your UI and game settings will be lost, although keep in mind that you can use the Depository function found at the bottom left of your Settings menu to save them online, giving you the opportunity to re-apply them.
Best Regards,
GM Horizon
i'll try deleting the cache and will report results.
Can you provide screenshots for me. Maybe at a common city than I can go to and compare results?
Yes here, look at the bridge, and it's all worse when moving trees aswell and fences

Try adjusting your vision range under "Performance" tab under settings. It's all the way at the bottom. Mine is set at 50. This may or may not help. Let me know if it does anything for you.
update your nvidia, it now support this game.
I think i played with these settings abit but no good results.
I will try that.
I played with the vision range from 50 to 70 it's the same. it's like everything few meters away from me is rendered horribly and is pixelated and jagged. the closeup character, and everything when zoomed in look beautiful.. also still getting annoying to change the settings everytime i log in ..
