Management of Attack speed or/and Critical Hit Rate ?

Usually i try to get AS and CHR to level 4 or 5 if i can (level 5 for CHR) but i wonder what happens actually while fighting.
As i read on a BDO build website, the attack speed usually applies to kicks or punches (for Mystic, Valkyrie, Sorceress for example who use many of their punch and kick skills). But seen that we speak about a Critical hit RATE...critical hits can be landed more often depending on the level.
If i opt for 3 lvl CHT and 5 levels AS...would the critical hits be compensated by the speed of the attacks? Actually, ingame i slightly see the difference between a lvl 5 and lvl 3 attack speed but it seems there isn´t such a huge gap between both levels.
I was just wondering how both of those capacities could be enhanced properly if someone could enlighten me (i could maybe replace those expensive carmae/addis stones or speed attack stones for more AP/Acc for example...).

Keeping your main stats at max level will be a combination of armor set bonuses, weapon bonuses and gems that go in either the weapon, gloves or maybe helmet. When you go to upgrade your gear (meaning change it to something better), you should try to reach or maintain those same stats at max level.

While I haven't played in nearly 2 years, the rules are still the same. These examples start with my sorc's gear to the best of my memory. She tries to maintain level 5 casting speed and 5 critical hit. Attack speed is not useful for her main skills. In this build, she gets a +3 CS bonus from 3 pieces of the Agerian set, the Liverto amulet for +3 CH and the rest from two weapon gems and one glove gem.

Next example is replacing the Agerian with Grunil. While Grunil grants more gem slots, many of those slots are needed to hold expensive or fragile gems to maintain 5CS/5CH. She also degrades a number of secondary stats while gaining little benefit.

A real upgrade would be to move toward full boss gear. This one replaces the Zereth boots with Agerian boots and equips Bheg's gloves. 200 stamina is sacrificed for +40 accuracy, but a trade like that is more than worth it and puts her on track for the full set.

The next upgrade would be full boss gear and then replacing Liverto with Kzarka. Through each step, the gems are changed to maintain the 5/5 stats.

All of this requires some planning. Figure out which sets or combinations give you what you need without much risk or expense. Then figure out how upgrade incrementally while keeping the same stat levels.

sorry but thats really outdated.
To op: THERE IS a difference between 5 attack speed and 3 speed, for classes like zerk, warrior or sorc combos that work with 5 speed wont work with 3 because the person will be able to stand and block/iframe before you can chain your cc.
for example as a sorc if i stunt someone with stinger, knock them and go into violation then grin reaper that last skill wont hit him because he would be able to stand and move/block before i can completely charge the skill.
For critical theres classes like dk with skills that have 100% critical so using critical crystals is pretty much a waste.
before boss armor dont even bother with expensive crystals, it will most likely break in a boss fight or if you go neg karma and besides you are going to replace that gear anyway, https://bdoplanner.com/s/o4vwH8CI this is what i would recommend to any new player.

instead of running critical crystals we use margoria food and shock elixir but thats only for pvp.
for other classes that dont rely on stamina the hystria on the shoes are replaced with red battlefield crystals and for the noob classes that dont require acc (witch/wizard, striker/mystic) the precision cystrals are replaced with red battlefield crystals too.

Well, how many times have i lost crystals and money (Cobelenius, Black spirit crystal, Addis, Carmae...) while dying to a field boss :(. Yes it gets quite expensive losing all those crystals (500 000 to 2 millions). I don´t even have Boss armor and i pretty much spent all my money on +15 weapons because enhancement is too frustrating (especially between +10 and +15...and for Bosss armor well don´´t want to know).
Since i Main Valkyrie that heavily relies on block, it would be tthen better to enhance critical hits to max level and leave the attack speed (casting speed is at max), since i read it affects only the kicks. I will rely on the first crystal build you sent me so i can a least spend less money if they break.
