i got a email saying: i can claim my free pet gift

but when i try to get it it leads me to the site and as a steam account you can't log into the account so how do you get your free gift then? im totally new so sorry if this is a stupid question

thx i wanted to log into the game to see if thats the way to get it but the moment i try to load in a server the game closes and kills all my internet stuff like everything thats open like a twitch stream still worked but opening something new or something els that uses internet does not and then tells me i have not internet connection and i have to restart my pc to get everything working again so so far im not gone be able to get back in :facepunch:
