Is there any purpose to playing Shai?

I don't much care if the Shai creeps people out or not; children (or, in this case, child-like races) exist, they can go on adventures, and they're not going away.

However, I am very concerned about being useless in a PvP-oriented game. Is the Shai's awakening going to introduce some PvP utility, or should I just pick another class?

Sadly this is how i feel, they don't care. I'm sad that i wasted my money and time on this game, only reason i play once in a while is because it's either im extremely bored or still trying to up bis. If i had known that the devs and the investors were more greedy and do anything and everything in terms of profits and not what the community wants i would have never bought this game when it first came out. I remember getting hyped for BDO and blade and soul before they even came to the west, and i was keeping an eye out for them for years! Now that i've played and witness both, i can honestly say i'll never ever eveeerrrr touch another Korean MMORPG again my life! I will never even look at them. If i see any game that has anything to do with Korea, i'm good!

I'll stick with my western games, i know some are kind of SJW, but hey it beats getting milked like a literal cow! And completely ignored and shut out. We have no voices here! It's been solid proof for many years that they do not care for what the western community wants or enjoys. They even turned the looting into the money milker for them and looting is the most fundamental and basic thing in an MMORPG and they took that and turned it into a money making machine. Disgusting! The only thing BDO has is comprehensive character creation and combat. That's it! If western developers focus on that area, korean games wouldn't even have a market here not even joking.

Ever since WoW classic released i've been just logging in to collect rewards and just log out, it was fun being apart of the shai meme for like half a second.

You know why they charge you 2.2k instead of 2k pearls for an outfit? So you are forced to spend 30 instead of 20 and have some pearls left over, it's mind games. They think that you having some pearls left over will get you to spend money and they got 30 bucks from you instead of just 20 for rehashed outfits. Turning the most fundamental aspect of mmorpgs "looting" into a money maker is also top notch gross business behavior. That's not even 1/100th of the story yet, i could write an entire bible on why this game is highway robbery. If kakao offered me 100 bucks to delete my account, i would (and i spent 10x that amount), without any second thought! Easily! I hate myself so much for even getting into this game. I should have left after the first 10 red flags popped up during its release. Too bad!

You knows what really crazy? Buying these really expensive virtual outfits that use the same assets across multiple characters with no character transfer and you can't sell them when you equip them! You talking about robbery? This is it!

If i was president of the united states i would either ban games like this from ever touching the west, or put heavy constant fines for milking the citizens with a disgusting business model and preying on peoples psychology! Games like these would be shamed and then removed from the western market. Sorry if that offends anyone.


Yea i enjoy BDOs combat and character creation but i will never glorify it or praise it when they mess up everything else and ignore us. I remember the devs going to the most negative reviews on steam about their game and they replied saying that they will "look at it" even knowing that they ignored the base game users before the steam release. They tried to play it off like they are originally caring about feedback and whatnot when they have always listened to their money stats and not the community. They try to get people to spend money on this game and don't care when they leave from BS. They know that they make a huge profit which is why they lowered the games price down to dirt. I'd rather pay a subscription than being treated like garbage.

Funny how you can spend like anywhere from 500-2,000 and the devs still pump out content that is based around you giving them money as if you haven't done enough, as if the community hasn't paid enough.They don't release content to make their community happy the underlying reason is money and it's quite obvious they dont even try to hide it lmfao!

When you're spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on an mmorpg that treats you as if you are a new unpaying player with each update and content release. Oh and the marketplace being connected to the value pack is beyond hilarious and why it's total hot garbage! They literally couldn't keep one thing untouched by their disgusting business model LOL. Majority of their never ending profit margin wants goes into the CEO's pockets and their investors not into the actual game itself.

You think those expensive outfits are handmade for each person? They are created once, the person(s) responsible for creating them got paid dirt compared to what profits are from said outfits because they are just reused expensive assets. I bet if i could see all the money being made and whats being spent on this game, it probably wouldn't even be over 30%. LOL!


Hold on let me keep my PC running constantly because i need my character to run back and forth to level up her weight and stam or spend money! LOL you're losing money either way, enjoy burning out your electricity bill for your toon, you might as well just spend 20 bucks on weight instead of just running up your bill to get there LOL. Pathetic and greedy. You must afk in the game and/or give us a lot of your money or play this game as if its your real job just to keep up.

This is why WoW classic is blowing up and has way too many players. There is no future expansion people can play it for fun and do things in the world instead of just focusing on the never ending gear progression(and that's pretty much what this games comes down to, if everyone had their gear at max, this game would die out real quick).
