"For newborn kittens" Not repeatable?

I'm quite confused about this quest right now, can anyone explain whether or not it is actually repeatable? It doesn't seem to reset for me.

You can do it once per day, wait till next day (when the attendence reward changes) and then you should be able to do it again

Make sure you have all the quest filters activated in your quest windows.

Orange = Activated
Gray = Deactivated

All of them are activated.

It is only possible to accept the newborn kittens quest if you don't have the "Balance out Polly's Forest" quest active.

So either you can just do one of the quests that gives you the mysterious remains per day or you can actually do both but just cant keep them active at the same time.
