The website blackdesertonline.com has a free trial which lasts for 7 days but does not link to steam. Be advised any accounts created there will not have steam wallet access.

That being said, the free trial can be extended a further 7 days by using a referral code from someone who has already bought the game. I have a ton of them now after buying 2 accounts.

See below for some examples. The referral code time limit is 7 days and begins once code is entered, so if you sign up for a free account and then immediately use my code, it effectively wastes the code.
