I'm going to guess they're either doing the quest event or it's a fishing hotspot like at Velia beach. Either way it's probably because the spot is in a safe zone due to this event so people are making the most of it until it's gone.

The termian hotspot at the moment, besides the usual trash items like broken nets and boots, only gives highest quality fish, including coelacanth (250k base price), relic shards and termian event seals. You can also get golden coelacanth just like any other fishing.
In the first night AFk fishing there I made 12+ million.

This is simply not true. I get average 4-6 coelacanth per fishing session there.
Did you spend more than 5 minutes fishing there? I

Abnormal current has been detected in Terrmian Waterpark bringing in new, rare fish to its waters!

Tuna, Porgy, Grunt, Nibbler, Smokey Chromis, Moray, Coelacanth can now be caught at Terrmian Bay.

This is why there's so many people. It's probably one of the better money making fishing locations in-game at the moment and located in a very convenient location.

have to check mark the box to auto throw away trash from fishing. Ether that or you want as little as possible for people to fish there. I just hope that BDO has a brain and use's this chance to catch some of the fishing bots. If you dont know what I am talking about then go search it online. As for the brain part, I do have my doubts on but one can hope.

Why would I want "as little people as possible" there.
I'd rather keep them away from Velia, that spot earned me way more

Thought i'd give this a go and went AFK fishg over night. Went to sleep about 9-10 last night. (Shh i was tired.) and woke up just now.

This is what i see when i look at my inventory; http://imgur.com/a/iBcLA

+5 fishing
+7 Epheria Fishing Rod
2,252,000 - selling some to the Imperial Fishing guy.
1,481,329 - No bargain, Velia trader - 19% distance bonus.

Total; 3,731,329

Conclusion; This is far better than my usual afk income and it could be improved by enhancing a Balenos Fishing Rod and selling all sellable fish to the imperial fishing guy as you'll get loads more. The task is just finding one that isn't already completeted. The only downside to this is i only got 1 relic shard, but that could just be RNG f*cking me over.

5-7 million per night, get one Golden Coelacanth and that's 10-12 million.

guess it depends on what you consider a night.

Can do 3-4 million every 4ish hours, unless I catch a gold fish. But i always bargain when I sell

And that's just seling in Olvia., not going for Imperial fish vendors
