[Question] Best way to level processing?
Already googled and found plenty of answers, thing is most of them are extremely outdated.
I read somethinig about processing Flax or Fleece being very good due to it's speed and cost but I'm not sure this is still the way to go.

Flax and cotton are considered the best since they're easy to acquire in large quantities, and weigh very little, making them ideal for long-term afk processing.

I leveled my processing up pretty fast back when you could turn a profit from melting weapons for the pure crystals and selling them. (Not sure if they still sell well or not.) I wasn't really focusing on leveling my processing skill though. I think it's the same with everything. The more you focus on leveling something, the slower/longer it's going to take. (Kinda like when you focus on a clock waiting for something, time feels like it passes slower.) I'd say just do something that takes up a lot of processing and don't focus on leveling it too much as the levels will come while you process. Build a boat or make clothes. Just focus on doing something else and you'll end up noticing your processing level going up much faster than if you were to keep looking at it every hour or so of processing. (Obviously it's just an illusion that tricks your brain into thinking it's taking forever because you're focusing on it so much.)

But, yeah. What Suzaku said. Most people use flax and cotton to level their processing, but in terms of pure exp. I believe making pure crystals gives you the most processing xp, but you need metal solvent and that's time consuming so people just stick with flax/cotton.

Not only that they also give more xp than ores and lumber.

craft tradepacks with it that way you also can level up trading.
Once you got both high levelprocessing and trading you got a sure way to make silver

^ What they said.
About 8.000 Flax ~ to go from skilled 1 to professional 1 (Depending on your Life Skill XP bonuses it may vary abit) i.e. 1 night or workday to accomplish this. :)

You do level faster doing the higher tier of processing.

Making ingots ingots levels you faster than making shard. Making pure crystals levels you faster than making ingots, but you need the metal Solvent.

Basically anything you can multi-tier craft is good for leveling.

Most people use Flax/Cotton because it is easy to aquire, light, and efficient. Flax is 2-tier processing, flax to thread, thread to cloth. It is also very light, and you only need 5 flax-thread, 5 thread-cloth. Where as processing wood and metal are heavier, usually require more mats per processes., 10 melted shard-1 ingot 10 timber-1 plank, 10 plank-1plywood. So you can AFK process flax for longer duration, with little interaction.
