Is there a way to get rid of the little black thing?
It irriates me and really turns me off so it gives me no motivation to play this game. I am also Australian so where are the servers located for this game?

You can't get rid of the black spirit, it's one of the most important things in this game.
Servers are either somewhere in North America or Europe, depending on what server you play on.

Once u get through the tutorial it gets more bearable....

You can turn off Black Spirit notifications.
Esc->Settings->Game

I mean where is it located in NA, I play Aion so their servers are in Texas and my ping buster gives me 200ping while this game gives me like 320.

You could ignore him, but you'll totally gimp yourself from doing important quests. He's the main campaign more or less, so not exactly advised.

His localization is terrible yes, but so is the whole damn game.

He gives some nice rewards all along the game and evolve to look more impressive.

But his voice is as annoying as possible and he tends to miss the important and costly upgrades costing you millions.
