How to type in the chat?

Hi, I see so many people typing in chat but I cant figure it out myself. How do I go about doing it? It porobably is something so simple that I would never have thought to do it lol. I didnt even see it in the controls in settings.

Press Enter. Type what you want. Press enter when done.

Server chat takes 1 energy per message. Keep that in mind.

and thats why i didnt kjknow how to do it. I cant even remember a name of a game that used Enter to type in chat lol. thanks

and when it comes to the nergy. I am level 42 but rarely use it lol. Just emptied it completely for first time yesterday xD

Seriously....?

Every single Game the Chat is Enter/Return based.... heck, even non Game Chats like Chat-Rooms, Teamspeak, Discord and whatever are always Enter based.

Seriously....?

Every single Game the Chat is Enter/Return based.... heck, even non Game Chats like Chat-Rooms, Teamspeak, Discord and whatever are always Enter based.

I mean enter to input the text, but enter to initiate typing is another thing. I am not a big MMO person. Only other MMO I have played with Elder Scrolls Online. Then when it comes to most FPS games, like CSGO it is almost never Enter from my experience

Ok, but he is right , i would say about 80%+ of all games are using enter (dont nail me on it ^^) .

Depends on , i think all valve shooters are using not enter to initiate. So it made sense from your POV

to behonest, i dont even remember the key to type in chat on ESO, I have played it in so long. And I cant think of any games that I really type in chat often besides CSGO xD I mean I guess thats a reason to not think of Enter lol
