what grunil gear should i upgrade to ultimate and why? (BLUE GRUNIL ARMOUR VS GREEN)

My friend suggested that i sell both of my blue grunil +10 gear (gloves and chestplate) and buy green grunil gear and upgrade them to +15 then get them to ultimate he claims that blue grunil gear will break the bosses effect somewhere in those lines, so may i please get a recommendation on what should i get for my Level 56 dark knight class

Ultimate Grunil TRI is pretty standart till you get your boss gear .I would sugest you to enchant it till DUO or TRI and then make it ultimate with Ultimate reform stones ,you can craft them your self by heating 10 3rd grade armor reform stones and Hard Black Crystal Shards.And the reform stones can be crafted at the Refinery 3rd grade.Don't reform them before PRI atleast so you have easyer times enchanting them.

The KR content does not add any new gear that is better than Grunil/Boss gear. All of the popular streamers in KR do not use the new gear.

Unlike other MMO's, gear is never outdated in BDO, so I would not recommend waiting.

Blue Grunil is Green Grunil with an added effect (and Ultimate Grunil is Green/Blue Grunil but with all the effects of the different Blues combined).

So I'm not sure why your friend wants you to sell your current gear instead of just continuing to enchant it?

Note that you can use Green grunil to repair durability on Blue pieces, as well as a Blue of the same type (which for some reason seems to be cheaper on the MP than the green counterpart).

Yeah. They are the same, just different tiers of it.

You can use a Grade 3 reform stone if you want to go the RNG way or you can get/make Ultimate Reform stones for a 100% guaranteed ultimate.

Green Grunil Has no extra bonus.

Blue Grunil ( or any other amror for that matter) has a defense bonuse. (+2 damage reduction to ranged/melee/magic damage)

Ultimate Grunil ( or any other armor ) has +2 damage reduction ( this includes ranged melee and magic damage )

So if you upgrade green or blue to ultimate you get the same end result.

Grunil is not as good as getting heve head gloves and boots with roaring chest. Anyone who suggests grunil and thinks it's the best is a player from when the game was fresh but didn't mature with the valencia content. Grunil is NO longer Bis pre boss just as Yuria is no longer Bis pre boss. With 3 heve and roaring not only is it simply easier to upgrade because you only have to duo or tri 3 pieces. But the set bonus's Transitions VERY nicely as you replace it with boss gear, grunil however suffers terribly from this. This is why you see so much grunil in market now, but heve is rare. All of the good players know not to touch grunil and it's getting sold off.

You do realise that USA and EU players have different taste right ?As far as i know USA focus on AP ,well here in EU we focus on accuracy.Also depending on the other stats that hidden AP that the grunil gives is quite welcome.Also no one mixes sets parts here.You won't see a single person who uses different sets parts.Forgot to add that the only ones that use heve here are warriors ,and a couple of valkyries.In other words all those who would like some more HP ,which is basicly useless ,because that goes down in 1 hit .
