Changing Residence

I currently have my residence in Velia, but I now want to move to Heidel. Can I have 2 residence at once? I don't want to set up one in Heidel and find that my Velia one closes and I lose all my stuff.

If I can, do I just load all my furniture/items on a Donkey and move them bit by bit to Heidel?

How would I then move my workers to new lodgings?

You can move house no problem, pack up your stuff and move it over. I'm not sure what the max amount of houses you can own is, but I know you can have 2.

Either that or just sell or change the use of your old one.

Workers stay where you hired them, you can send them to work in other places but they will always travel from where they were hired and return the goods to that same storage.

It's best to keep workers travel time down to increase productivity
