Best pet(s) to buy as a new player.

What are the 4 best pets you'd recommend as someone who mainly likes combat/grinding.

Right now I have a cat (could replace it), panda, fox, hawk.

I'm pretty much assuming everything is fine besides the cat, but let's hear some ideas.

I would go with Hawks, on top of them looking pretty darn cool with your character, they have good passive skills like picking up loot and such, which comes in handy when grinding. Also increases your silver income which in the long run betters your gear.

I have Hawk, Desert Fox, German Sheperd and Rabbit also The Penguin.

Hawks help you gain knowledge which is extremely usefull.

In the end I think it will come down to personal preference, but I think cats are probably the best pet if you plan to do any of the life skill content in this game.

each cat gives +life skill exp and they can mark gathering resources for you when you're out gathering, plus they're cheaper in case you care to try to combine your pets going for tier 2+

honestly it depend what u want to do. hawk give knowledge. other give skill point exp, life skill exp, etc. read ur pet on what skill u looking for. if udidnt get the penguin u miss out. since he the only one that lower afk fish time. but yeah honestly get life skill pet. they give u buff. trust

oh yeah when i 1st started i had 3 hawk bcs they look cool and most my knowledge are c. i just get them faster
