Unfortunately, you are right, it's true that one needs a 2nd monitor to play the game due to the vast information that needs to be accessible at all times.

If I hadn't my secondary screen to help, I doubt I'd carry on with any the 'life' quests :/

Ofc, I suppose things should be different if you're in an experienced guild with guildmates that can guide you.

On the other hand -and strangely enough- this is the ONLY game that have kept me running crafting quests without sleeping on my keyboard lol. For some reason nothing seems to bore me in this game.

My honest opinion is to give the game a chance.

For bargaining, increasing your amity with the trader will give you more "turns" in the amity game. So instead of adjusting the scales 3 times, you get 4, 5 or more.

I found out I can make some lifequests with the help of the black ghost, merely gather and cooking quests, but something to begin with. maybe the alchemy quests will be unlocked somehow after that.

else I dont know, what to do?

There should definitely be Black Spirit Alchemy quests as well. If you don't have an option that says "I want to learn about alchemy" from the BS, you may already have the relevant quest in your log.

Ill look again, thx. but Im pretty sure, I dont have it? seldom I had such problems in a pc game. its just confusing and unclear, regarding the fact, that the game takes the player pretty much by the hand in all other things.

nope, its def. a bug. I triple checked all options and nothing. I made sure all lifequests are shown. no alchemy quests (and I meet the requirements). Ill check something and report back, but tbh I have no hope to fix it myself. Ill have to wait for the devs to help me.

Are you sure you haven't missed a quest which triggers all the others?

If I were you, I'd go back to Velia (maybe even Olvia) and look around to see if there are any quests left.

Note that, if that was a bug then others would also experience it. I'm playing 6 characters at the same time and I haven't experienced anything similar.
Everytime I think 'why I don't see this quest here' it's always because I missed the trigger quest in the previous areas.

I really looked hard to find them, but they aint there. there were some quests in velia from the black ghost (learn to cook/alchemy was the topic, both in one option), but they didnt proceed. looks like Im stuck here. and being stuck in a game I paid for is not optimal, nicely spoken. at least the black ghost should push me in the right direction, but he has also no more lifequests to give.

idk what to do. honestly spoken and put in nice words, Im really disappointed and also angry, cos I found a guy on the web, who had the exactly same issue like me. but maybe the bug isnt widely spread so I think, the devs will not care, as the majority of quests works for the other players.

Im close to dump this game. I dont wanna play a game where parts do not work. oc, I can skill alchemy anyway, but I want the quests! Ill look in velia again, if I missed something, but I doubt it. I even did the cooking quests, which I believed were needed for alchemy, but apparently they arent. Im simply stuck. :(

no, trying to do a profession is useless waste of time! theres NO clue for the player, where, when and why to do a job. I give it up - Im too dumb to learn alchemy ingame. Idk, why they make it so hard for players to learn alchemy like it was some secret elite profession, or what?

Im really angry and cant recommend the game to any player, who likes crafting in MMOs. its just a waste of time. oc I can look on the internet, but I dont have 2 monitors and I am roleplaying. alt-tab throws me out of immersion, which is hard already with all that different player chars running around like a wild bunch.

uh there are plenty of quests in game that teaches you about the professions in this game and the mechanics step by step.

It's not the games fault you are trying to rush it and not do the quests that literally teaches you the mechanics.

thats not the case. I did all the quests. the thing is, alchemy wont proceed.

you did all the quests in gilsh?
M Jun 29, 2017 @ 8:06am
the quests in glish are not available. thats what Im trying to say and yes, I have met the requirements.

have you looked at the below guide yet? Maybe it can help you out if you are stuck. Though do be warned alchemy is probably one of the more complex lifeskills in this game and going head strong into it without knowing the basic game mechanics isn't too recommended.

There is a reason why alchemy has a bunch of requirements to get everything unlocked, even the game is like "hey this profession is harder, lets have some minimal requirements so new players don't dive head first into it and get lost".

You can't really blame the game when you are trying to bypass the basics and dive head first lol.

well, I rode back to the first village and made some unrelated quest, that I thought... like helping the boy get salt water to make the dead fish alive. that or it was the chief of the second bigger town, velia. I did almost every quest, related to alchemy or not, I was kinda desperate. but this time the velia chief sent me further and maybe that was it.

I rode to glish in bad mood, like nothing happened and couldnt believe my eyes! the alchemy quest are there! somehow I managed to trigger the questline with other meaningless quests. that, or a developer fairy saw my post and helped fix the issue.

my my what am I happy now. I can finally start doing alchemy.
