can you change servers at all?

a friend of mine has been playing and i just bought it today. I plan to play with them, but i can't get ahold of him right now to find out what server he is on. i'm wondering how hard it is to swap after if i were just start right now on some random server. does it cost? free 1 time? should i just wait and do nothing until i know exactly the server? I don't mind paying a little bit if it cost.

You can jump servers anytime you want. The only rules are that you have to wait 15 minutes before switching again, and Steam servers are for Steam players only, and Olvia servers are only available for 30 days to new or returning players (those that haven't played in 30 days or more).

TL;DR: You have nothing to worry about. Just pick one; an Olvia if you can access it.

Well there are just 2 Servers, NA and EU. To switch you have to use a Start command which was -Server NA, or something like this.

Lets say you are on Olvia 8 "server" and he is on Olvia 9. You can change "server" by clicking Olvia 8 top right corner. 15 min cooldown. Free of charge
