Well there are multiple ways. You could make Crates in a workshop, basically put 10 Iron ore into a crate and then sell it to NPC Traders. Thing is: The profit is ....not really there.
Crates like these are called "Junk Crates" in case you ever happen to stumble on that term.
They are good for leveling the Trading life skill but not good for money, unless you use high-level reassources. Iron is not one of them.
Another way to make money, would be to melt these Iron ores down into Shards and later ingots. You can do this by processing. Processing is accessed with the "L" button. You will need 10 Ores to start melting. At first you will most likely end up with one shard per 10 ores but this will increase later, once you leveled processing. You will also later get a quest to process 10 shards into an ingot.
Putting ingots into crates is more profitable but you could also sell the products at the marketplace, since they are used for crafting.
There is a lot to learn about workers and what to do with products and i highly advise you search up a few youtube tutorials about it.
The few things that you can craft to make good profit with all need that.
