Repair Max durability bugged?

I was working on upgrading my fishing pole, I have it up to +7 now but when I try to repair max durabilty, just went through 7 of these poles to repair it. I look in my inventory and it's still saying 5/5 of 85.

Is there any in game support to contact or something? That is an extreemly expensive bug for a newer player. It took me a week to save up my money to invest in this stuff. Just watched half of it vanish...

You are trying to use up a +0 rod to do so yes? You have to recover max durability this way. +10 each time. And it's 'recover max durability' under repair.

What colour are the lines on the durability bar?
Because when an item is not at 100% max durability, and it's not been repaired you will have:

Red: Durability you still have
Grey: Gap between durability and max durability
Black: Missing max durability

Restoring Max durability does not repair the current durability of the item, so you have to actually "repair" it.

It will look like this:

------- 55 / 85 (100) ----------

Where the part in brackets is the max durability you *could* reach. If that number is not the same as the second number, then you still have to repair max durability.

Yes. The max durability was still at 5/5 of 85 (potential max)

I was buying out the same kind of rod (balenos) for an hour to upgrade and repair

In that case submit a support ticket. In game, if you hit B for your mail, there will be a "support" link at the bottom that will take you to their support site.

I hope it gets sorted out quickly!

And just to be clear, since the system is a little different than normal, what all /exactly/ are you clicking to attempt to fix up your rod?

At a blacksmith, the repair option. Restore maximum durability.

Put my upgraded but weakened rod up, and one regular (repairs 10 each) repeated 8 times. Then looked at my rod and it still said 5/5 of 85..

Idk, ill open a ticket when I get home. I was able to restart the game and repair again and had no problems. So ... idk what the problem was. I don't believe you even cam accidentally put the wrong rod up since they are greyed out.
