Not surprising though. It's the typical release pattern of hero-based games.

Release broken characters to get people interested again, people get bored, repeat. Just looking at all the comments across multiple channels saying things to the effect of "wow DK/Striker looks interesting, I'm starting/redownloading again" is pretty much proof positive of this.

It's also pretty easy to tell when the Dark knight ♥♥♥♥♥ on all vanilla characters (not withstanding severe gear differences) but a DK really can't touch a competent striker. Everything they do is a stun/knockdown, and they heal from most of their ability set. Totally balanced. I'm not mad though, you'd have to be a masocist to take PvP in an MMO seriously. Which, I mean, if that's your thing go for it.

Just thought I would let people know. Strikers aren't great for PvE right now though, until awakening comes over anyway.

Saw a Striker do PVP. Class is insanely fast, and recovers health without the use of potions. Really a tough opponent.

Strikers are OP in pvp, many say its #1 in that prospective atm and everyone has known this for a long time now. You have to be really really bad to lose as a striker or you GS is like 200+ points lower then your advisary. I can not guess how much stronger mystic is gonna be once released.

AP and DP are not everything, there are Kuno's with full bossgear that have only 130AP / DP and will still faceroll you. Resis, Evasion, DR, Accuracy play a much bigger factor than anything else. Do some research how to determine what gear actually means, before Awakening and Pri / Duo gear it's not balanced anyways imo.
The AP / DP wank that guilds like to put into their recruit messages don't mean anything. There's way more stats than that to compare stuff. By your logic a 25AP offhand is always better than an offhand that increases accuracy, it depends where you equip it and how the skillpoints are set. A lvl 60 could have 800 skillpoints or 1600 skillpoints, both have the same level yet one of them has DOUBLE the points invested in skills.
AP DP wank is pointless. Literally, there's no point.

ninja is the strongest class right now, if you lose to a striker is because you are bad.

Nobody is crying, like I said, I don't care about pvp. It was just a friendly duel between me and my friend to see how the combat of BDO would translate agaisnt actual people and not just melting labotimized NPC mobs all day.

I'm using Grunil +13,+11,+5,+5, shoes helmet body and gloves respectively. +15 rosar and a +15 oros knot of temptation. Some trash belt and Jaret's ring(s) earings(s).

The striker I was fighting had the same gear with less black stones in it. The biggest difference was he had a +15 liverto. Though overall Ap was only off my 2-3 points in his favor. I had more Dp by at least 10.

Okay, so:

1. You played one duel
2. You aren't into PVP, at all, ever, in any mmo.
3. You come here complaining how you lost that one duel and now the class is op and a lot more insinuations.


Sidenote: Striker/DK isn't new. Striker is decent, but also not the best. If you looked up some stats/guides and theorycrafting you'd realize that DK's have a worse matchup against a Striker.

You can't complain about how a certain class plays if you are unwilling to put in time/effort because you don't care. But you do care, because here you are.

Anything, and I do mean ANYTHING, that has some form of competetive aspect to it won't be a fun magical online wonderland for people that don't care about it. You will fight people better than you and in a 1v1 situation you can't blame anyone but yourself. Please understand that before you get on that high horse. Be humble.
