PVP CLASS GUIDE FOR DUMMIES READ BEFORE MAKING A CLASS

Pretty much like every MMO out there, BDO suffers from the problem of Horrible class balance. So im going to help you choose a class by giving a tier list as well as short discription

TOP TIER ========================================

WIZARD/WITCH: GREAT AOE Extremely high damage output, the best healing and buffs in the game, Average casting duration, Very low skill floor rquired to play and innate stat boosts that allow you to bypass some gearing choices and stack damage. Very good long range mobility, Bad short range mobility. Wizard is more popular because of the very lowest skill floor required to play due to a couple of cheese moves it has, but in my opinion Witch offers more versatility at a higher range

WARRIOR: GOOD AOE Great Damage, good movement, Great defenses, Has a cheese block which allows you to be almost 100% invulnerable to CCs 100% of the time with a little practice and this is probably the highest selling point of the class as it pretty much protects you from possibly the most important factor in PvP, getting CCd. The sprint animation on him is like a man who had a poop accident and is running to the toilet though :/

Dark Knight: GOOD AOE EXTREME range on attacks, Lots of traps and setups for high skill gameplay, Great damage, great short distance mobility, good long distance mobility. can kite like a mofo and has the range on her abilities to shut down and demolish oponents from a mile away. funny enough its more of a ranger than an actual bow wielding class. Has Thigh jiggle

BERSERKER: GOOD AOE, The very best CC's in the game, infact 4 of THE VERY BEST CCs in the game where most classes dont even get one of em. Great healing abilities, GREAT long rage mobility, Good short range mobility and good damage. Grabs are the END ALL CCs in the game since they can prolong any combo and can be chained after any CC where certain CCs cannot be done one after the other. this guy GETS 4 GRABS, enabling him to always have a reliable Cheese move if actually playing with skill fails.

GOOD CLASSES ==============================================

Ranger: Great mobility, OK defensive capability, GRRRRREEEEEEAAAAT Damage, bad AOE, and no defences on their best mobility skills, BAD sustain. Now these guys get a grab AND skills that DO A ♥♥♥♥ TON OF DAMAGE, but have very high CDs, they have the mobility to kite in between but their mobility can be easily shut down by ranged AOEs.

Musa: GREAT PROTECTED SPAMMABLE MOBILITY ZOOM ZOOM CLASS. Good spin2win AOE, Bad block, not much ranged option, OK CC and no grabs. Good damage. He's a very viable class in 1vsmall groups but lack of heals, and pretty much everything melee keeps him from being top tier.

Sorceress: BEST SHORT DISTANCE MOBILITY, Meh long distance, great damage, meh ranged options, ok heals and sustain. A very good class, only reason she is here is because of no grab and not a lot of ranged options. and a very high skill floor.

Maehwa: Musa but with single target damage rather than AOE.

OK CLASSES ===========================================

Tamer: VERY VERY GOOD DAMAGE. Nice tankiness, good mobility an goo ccs. Reason why she is here is that she doesnt have good defenses on her skills as opposed to the good and top classes and for some reason she takes 50% extra damage from every caster class in the game... and you'll notice that 3/4 caster classes are top tier... sooooo....

Valkyrie: Honestly the class that made the most sense balance wise. but every other class has so much going for them that it boots valk to here. Good mobility, good sustain, buffs, heal, CCs, she has a grab, good defenses, problem is damage, she needs a TON of stats to do good damage at end game levels but when she has those stats she's a damn beast.

DONT TOUCH WITH A 6 FOOT POLE ===================================

Ninja: Bad long range mobility, bad short range mobility, good damage, bad AOE, and bugged skills. People may tell you AYYY NIINJA IS SO MOBILE YEAAAAAHH. they are talking a load of crap. Ninja's regular evasion move is on a 1 second hard cooldown and is the only class that has such a cooldown save dark knight and kunoichi, but Dark Knight gets 3 evasion moves along with 3 short cooldown long range evasion moves which allows them to have 100% uptime on their evasion. Ninjas, Nah. 1 sec hard cap. this causes ninja to have an EXTREMELY HIGH SKILL FLOOR to even begin to function in 1v1 pvp. the 'unique feature' of ninjas are also given to dark knight and sorc so he doesnt really bring anything to the table. His signiture, stealth, comes with a 50% movement debuff and can be detected by wizard/witch and tamer making it a novelty.

Kuno: much of the same as ninja, has more AOE than him but even worse damage. dont play unless you are a complete masocist.

Valkyrie is top tier in KR. They place her high but below the god tier classes. In Siege she is one of the most useful classes in the game

honestly why do people think that KR meta matters in eu/na when they are months ahead of us, valk is trash in eu/na and a good ninja/kuno will ♥♥♥♥ on her

Tell that to the blackrose valk who tops the charts in kills over wizards and witches in Siege. Constantly getting over 70+ kills. Valks and tamers are stupid strong. People just wanna jump on the bandwagon of "he said this so it must be right" Ask any top player if valks or tamers are strong in NA or EU, theyll tell you they are.

And you must realise that this guide will remain the most relevent guide out there, the meta wont change any furthur except more OP classes may release, PA already confirmed this So if you want to PvP make sure you choose one of the top classes

ninja is a god 1v1 class, a good ninja will shot on any other class in 1v1 lmao
