How to build a ninja?
Gear wise, stone enchantment stuff, and maybe a few essential skills I'll need. I'm nearing endgame I think and while I do really well in PvE i'm afraid I'll get smashed by high levels who know how to build their character in PvP. Can you guys help me out?

If you are trying to PVP then all boss gear, to at least Tri. Most people prefer a Khzarka over a Liverto. Basilisk Belt, Tungrade Earrings, Ring of Crescent Guardian. For an AP build anyway.

For a ninja whats better, AP or DP?

Almost all the stuff I have read says AP. Level makes a big difference too. If you're 56 with full boss gear, you are still going to get freaking WRECKED by a level 60 pretty much anything but Tamer. If you are in it for PVP then the OP class is Ranger, Wizard/Witch, then Ninja. Unless Striker or DK has changed that. I haven't really been keeping up.

Ranger is now considered one of the worst pvp classes, due to having the most useless awakening in the game that makes her less viable and able to keep up. On the other spectrum, Warrior is now considered great, even better than valk (except at 1 vs 1) once you have GS.

Since when is Ranger considered the worst PVP? She's been awakened for quite a while and I had not heard anyone say that.

ranger is still awesome, it's just that some other classes have risen past it in recent months, but it's more to do with tweaks to skills for those classes rather than any issues with ranger.

I see it. It seems like the hate fest for Ranger is focused on her 1 v 1 pvp ability. Duly noted!
