My Game Will not let me select anything.
So I am really wanting to play this game. (I have been for awhile) But I load up the game after spending 6 hours to download and given a windowed screen. I click on the settings and put it in fullscreen. The moment I do this. My game will not let me select anything! I can't even press the start button to even get into the game. Please help me because I don't know if I got to get a refund and walk away from it or there is a way to fix it.

Extra Note it is not my pc being not up to date with specs, because I got a 1080 in my pc and I know that could handle this game so I don't know if it is a bug I have to fix or if I have to delete it and try to reinstall it again...

Hey there!
When you change the resolution, it gives a timed window to accept or deny the changes. Are you getting that window? The first time setup for settings is pretty bad :/
Do finally get mine to be a true full screen, I had to apply the Fullscreen Window and confirm the change. At that point it was true, but I went ahead and ticked the Fullscreen option and it remained.

I may have figured this out. I told you how I got to the full screen, but I didn't realize it would put me right back where I started. Our two issues may just be linked.
Go to BDO in your steam directory and right click on the Black Desert Online Steam Launcher. Go to Compatibility and tick Disable display scaling on high DPI settings.
My game opened in full screen after this and my mouse wasn't limited to the launcher like it was before. If your mouse still isn't working, many people have suggested Alt tabbing or trying to use the arrow and enter keys. If the issue STILL isn't fixed, I haven't a clue. Visit the official and submit a ticket. Sorry :(

I struggled with this for an hour and a half. My fiance suggested an old WOW trick:

On Windows 10:

Go to Display Settings > Change the size of text, apps, and other items
Set this back to the default 100%

Make sure the game resolution and your computer resolution match!
My computer Desktop is at 3840 x 2160, so the below settings will match that, you can change the values to match your setup.

Go to Display Settings > Resolution
3840 x 2160 (Recommended)

To change the game resolution when you can't click on anything in the game screen:
Edit the text file in C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Documents\Black Desert\GameOption
width = 3840
height = 2160

Then save and close.

I honestly restarted my computer too.

Prior to the above I tried a few other things:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Desert Online\bin64
Right click BlackDesert64.exe
Compatibility Tab > Check box to Run this program as an administrator

During the troubleshooting process we cleared temp files under also
C:\Users\{YourUsername]\Documents\Black Desert\UserCache
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Desert Online\Cache
