Every day, you receive a chunk of money based on your fame levels. The higher, the better.
It's literally free money. Take it, spend it, love it.
Keep in mind very few MMOs are centered around grinding like BDO is. (Grinding is just staying in one place and killing enemies for experience points to level up).
Honestly I never liked MMO's. My first experience was WOW. My kids played it so I gave it a shot. I hated the point and click combat and thought it was silly. Just not my thing. I have always just played FPS, Action, sports and RTS games. I saw some videos of BDO and thought I would give it a try. Dear god I feel like I need to go to BDO college to understand this game and the vocabulary. Its overwhelming for sure. Still having fun though!
If there's anything you'd have questions on, always ask around (be it in-game or on the forums here or the official site).
