Investing in nodes question

What happens if i invest Energy in a node like Potato Farming?
What benefits does it have? Is it worth it?

The monsters/mobs around the area will drop more items, it will not increase production , for that you need better workers, investing energy in a node will produce 10 % more item drops in that area for mobs you kill at lvl 10 energy investment . Either way its not a noticeable increase, something you might want to invest in later on in game , at better locations, its not worth it until after 1000 hours in game, if you have energy to spend , you're better of spending energy at the night vendor .

By spending 50 energy at the night vendor you have a chance to buy rare items for cheaper prices. Most of the time its black stones though . You can get a higher energy cap easily by having multiple alternate characters to lvl 50 .

Right now it's virtually useless, don't waste your energy investing into nodes for the time being.

Um the person who said it doesnt increase production is incorrect.

It depends on your node.

If you put points into a potato node...you will get extra potatos and increase production in that area as well....as thats a sub node of the other node.

Thus why the game tells you this....and its a specifc node type.

There is a mission tutorial you will reach that not only shows you this.....unless you skip everything......but also an ingame guide...and later stil a specific NPC you will unlock that will explain things in more detail like telling you how things effect other things.(for example if you have tons of potato nodes unlocked all over...your prices and production and gathering of potatos is increased alot...even your growing of potatoes will yield better results.

The nodes dont effect drops for example as much as getting the knowledge skill on the creatures you fight...since people on this thread dont know about these things.....they have not reached that point or played much...so i wont go into detail and spoil it.

lets just say this game is a micromanagement dream if you play that way.

The fact of the matter is that noone is completetly sure if investing into nodes actually does anything at all. No test i have ever seen have proven node investment to be useful in any way.

Please prove me wrong, would love to see a data set saying otherwise.

Yeah um...try going tot he alejandro farm and doing the missions there.

It has a nice tutorial on nodes just for you.

You actualy have to put a point intot he pumpkin node to increase the production.

In addition if you want to as i said see what all your skills and nodes are doing for you.....there is an NPC inthe grand library that will show you this.

Its not brain surgery and its not hidden.

Some people jsut it seams like to skip eberything.....grind to max level....dont realize you can progress beyond that.....think pvp is all there is to do...becasue they didnt unlock anything else.

oh yes...node points on cities....and such...give ytou better prices....

you actualy made me log into the game to look to see where that mission was......becasue i noticed the internet is now filled with tons of spam sites and other new sites with out information......

I didnt book mark that original wiki i used to go to.....blast it or i would post the link....it was multi-language but had alot more listed on it then what i see right now on the top links.

I will screen shot my chartacter...as soon as i navigate the steam version a bit......i already have an account and played for a long while.

yah, placebo is a strong drug.
I had no noticable difference after investing into any node. Cant see ive seen anyone else claiming so either. Theres a post somewhere on offical forums stating that after extensive testing no benefit was gained from investing into any node, despite what the game tells you.

Thats why i said i wanted the data to show it, cause if there is a difference in drops or worker gains from investing into a node, its way to small to notice. same for S rank knowledge.

Only thing that has been confirmed to up the loot drops are the blessing of kamasylve.

Investing your energy to increase the node levels is pointless right now. Someone did a big data gathering and found out it did maybe 0.2% difference from lvl 1-10. Spend your energy somewhere else for now.

Its as good as long as you are invested in the node. Its still pretty pointless to invest in any nodes. Just bottle up your energy and sell it on the CM. You will be way better off.
