Crash / freeze after choosing character and loading into game

I can start the game just fine, create a character, but when i try to load into the game (loading screen with a running man reaching bottom right corner of the screen), then the game stops responding. Music keeps playing but thats it. Have to restart computer to kill the game, task manager refuses to kill it.

Things that i have tried so far:
- Checked game files integrity via Steam, several times.
- Checked RAM for errors with Memtest86
- Reinstalled / redownloaded the game
- Deleted game cache folders
- Running game as admin
- Running Steam as admin
- Creating a non-admin windows account
- Setting graphics settings to lowest possible
- Disabled antivirus
- Created another new character, different class
- Different servers

My PC specs:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Kingston DDR3 16GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 x2 (tried with and without SLI)
♥♥♥♥ tons of free hard drive space

I can provide dxdiag.txt and game log files on request

I got my game working after i downgraded gfx drivers to 362.00 from 382.33

how did u downgrade? i have the same problem

I had the old 362.00 driver installer on my hard drive. You could try googling for it. In the installer I just ticked the box to do a clean install which removed the previous driver i had

I have also tried all the fixes the op posted and even went as far as wiping my C drive and performing a refresh. It appears that anyone having issues is on their own.

Even with a fresh install of Windows I0 added to the above actions by the op I get a freeze / crash within a minute,, these threads with game issues are getting buried and not even sure they care. After days trying to find a workaround and finally a wipe, its on their end in some way.
Checking memory usage with the launcher ive mine only climbed to around 2700mb before the launcher crashes. Still cant believe this game wont run on a refreshed win 10 without anything installed but steam and firefox, tried using the .bat file fix as well, still searching for a fix. I have 2 PCs with similar hardware both have clean Win 10 installs, one seems to run the game ok, while the other crashes, system event shows a app hang from BDO during each crash, the launcher is not responding prior to each crash. Since this event /issue is happening on my desktop and not my htpc build i would like to find a workaround.

Am having the same problems with similar specs to op. I've tried a lot of these things but not all, so even though it seems we're SOL from the support side, I appreciate you listing all the ideas you've collected and tested, tox1m. Glad it's working for you now.

Good luck guys and gals getting it working. I have not had any stability issues so far. I left the game running in the morning, leaving my character running in a loop and 8 hours later it was still working after i got home from work.
