Which pack to get?

I want to buy the bundle so I get the pet for looting and the horse for riding, but they come in both versions, so should I just pick up the cheaper one?

The game has never been subscription based and will never be.
All exspansions are free, It's cheap on the BDO website aswell around 10GBP/euro etc . So i'd assume it's lower as a instroductory price as it's new on steam but isn't a new game being release to draw in more players.

Maybe I was getting the subscription thing mixed up with ingame money. I swear there was some hate on the game for purchasing items that speed up your progress as this game has quite the grind to it.

I would like to know what the grind is like.

If you want the pet, I'd buy the 5 GBP version then buy 1000pearls for 8GBP/10 euro etc and then use in game silver for the horse. At your level you don't need the horse in that pack which you will obtain easy enough without shelling out any more money
If you have the money i'd get the cheap version of the game and 2000 pearls , get 2 pets which will help looting and you are golden.

I can't comment on the steam version because you get the XP boost servers for new players on thw website base game i'd assume you do on steam version aswell but i can't be 100%. If you spent 8 hours on the game you would be close to level 40-50 depending on you as a player, class and if you roll in the group.

Sounds good, I noticed that the value packs in them bundles are only for 30 days anyway, so what's the point. And the cheaper horse whistle is just for 7 days, meh.

Levelling in general isn't hard on this game.1 day will easily get you too 50, and maybe 3 more days too 56 depending on a few factors i mentioned above.
But i'd suggest playing a few of the toons find out your play style then focus on 1 character for no.
Make sure you do a few quests along the way but not all of them. Focus on ones that give inventory slots mainly and do all the black spirit quests which will help with story and gear.
Focus on enchanting 1 set of gear and use it with your alts for now then levelling more gear later on.

Save them value packs until you are high level the perks from them are super valueable to maximism profits/money earnt.

No they will temporarily give you them slots.But if the pack runs out and your invetory is full as you remove a item you will loose the slot. So no items in your inventory is lost once it's run out, you just won't be able to then place another item in the temp slot. same goes for bank storage etc. Honestly save them until later on as you begin crafting and trading too really benefit from them.

So Major what woulf you recommend for new player? Cuz that's crazy deal £82 down to 21 something for that Explorer.

Both packs have the same content really, the Explorer pack just has more of the items/better horse.
