the items you get are listed here https://www.blackdesertonline.com/shop/GamePass.html
i honestly think its worth it. i've played wow since 2005, rift, i bought both soul packs and had a high level cleric during the last expansion, tera i have a couple high level chars in that, eve online since 2008, maxxed logi carrier pilot 2 chars with a combined sp of 120mil,
i've played a good bunch of the best mmos and i find bdo to be unique enough and fun enough to be worth its current asking price. yes it is worth it.
They have issues with usually gambling. Then they'd love too blame it on the game, a mmorpg. If you've played any mmorpg you know that the deal is they want you too stay, there's going to be RNG. The devs Pearl Abyss made there own mmorpg, not another copypasta mmo.
Here's the facts
Yeah, in-game shop is heavy on convience. You got the option too buy some of them from the marketplace/auction house. Don't start spending your own cash until you feel like this is something you wanna spend your Time on. It could get expensive or it could not.
The richest and most well geared players have not bought everything that bumps up your "enjoyment". They have done it through the lifeskills. No combat grind is needed if you wanna get "late game" geared.
If you read that or not, here's the shortest and most well informed (and honest) "review" there is,
if you didn't read then you'll probably see this link and click on it. ;)
Sadly those who just pumped money into convenience items seem too have been playing a entirely different game.
