As someone who played a lot before and purchased Explorers on release, I'd not bother. Buy the standard base game and then pets from the cash shop.

Read what you are about to get. If it sounds nice to you and makes sense of what they are asking, purchase it. I can't imagine what they are offering would be cheaper by purchasing them one by one.

YES it is, until now everyone paid 50$ to have it lol, they ll be really mad.
But personally i didn't buy it because i want my 4 pets, 30$ + 3x10$ would be too much for me.

My advice is the opposite! Even more so since they have the prices discounted for release AND ADDED 2 character slots to the explorer's package.

Get the explorer's package! You get much more value out of it. The base game itself is already $6 (sale price), pets are $9-12 each depending on which ones you get.


Lets say if you were to be cheap and get the $6 base game along with 4 pets, Thats going to be $42-$54 depending on the pets you choose.

Might as well go for the $30 package and get 3 additional pets, ($57-66). It's not that much more for stuff that would be much more expensive to purchase in-game after the fact.

With the $30 package you get:

Base game ($6 value)
1 Free Pet ($9-12 value)
Permanent Horse whistle ($15 Value TRUST ME YOU WILL WANT THIS. The range of calling your horse is so poor that you might as well run to the horse but with the whistle you can basically call it from out of your range of vision)

16-Slots to your inventory ($15 value, inventory and weight is a issue for a lot of players in this game) -

2x Character slots ($5 each)
2x 30-day value packs ( $15 each)

5 Housing Decor Coupons ($10-16 Value depending on which pieces of furniture you pick. Lets you get 5 free pieces of furniture to decorate your residence.)

I did ok getting to 56 on the base $10 purchase, just play for a while like that and if you like the game, then like others are saying, buy 2-3 pets and go from there. the $10 base game and 2 pets puts the price about the same and you'll have your auto looting buddies. which is all you really need to keep a steady rate of progression and remove the need to loot manually.

the only thing i'm probably going to get from the cash shop at some point is a permanent costume and ill be happy, 3 pets and a costume and you have the best permanent convenience items in the cash shop. after that you most likely won't need to spend money at all on the shop to reach a high actual level and level of gear those 2 things just require effort..

They discounted the explorer package. Its $30 for steam users because of the release sale. they also added in 2 character expansion slots so package is DEFINITELY WORTH THE BUNDLE now.

i guess it depends on if you plan on play many alts, i know ppl like their fail stack banks and energy pools but i'm a casual and don't have the patients to focus on trying to min/max this game, i'm just playing to have some casual fun.

but yes, get the explorers package if your certain you'll enjoy the game because the items that come with it are more than worth the price. you only get one pet but the other items will make your journey to 56+ that much easier.

2 months of value packs, thats $30 on its own, 10 free deaths with no exp loss, that will help you a lot if you can save them until you reach past 56 because deaths take away hours of grinding exp.
