Thank You For Playing achievement

Shouldn't this achievement unlock when you finish the last chapter? I've played through twice and didn't unlock it. I did unlock the "Been There Done That" which requires you to collect everything and finish the game. So why didn't "Thank You For Playing" unlock?

Any help would be appreciated.

No, that's not it. I did check credits. But the achievement description clearly states "Finish chapter 4". Which I did. Since I got the other achievement for finishing the game I should've gotten this one too.

Unlocked for me when bringing home the final trinket and the message "Thank you for playing" appeared on the screen.

For me it was the other way around, I did all feathers/conversations/etc., but only got the achievement for finishing chapter 4, but not the "been there" one.
Tried it two or three times now, but somehow it feels like at least one conversation seems to be not counting for me. Not sure why though.

Thank you for playing seems to work now, however it seems you can no longer collect all feathers. Collected 10 out of 11, but no 11th feather anywhere to be found..

i still can collect all feathers but no thank you for playing achiev yet after 11/11 feathers
next time im gonna play it again without collecting feathers at all

i think the thank you achiev does not trigger if you have collected all 11 feathers first

For me the "Thank you for playing" triggered (I had 10/11 feathers at the time). However, when I collected my 11th feather I did not get the "Been there done that" achievement. Curious!

After completing the game, I had all but 3 achievements. "Cave Story", which I guess I'm just not finding (even though I flew ALL over the place for about 2 hours looking... argh!). But I also didn't get "Thank You For Playing" or "Home Sweet Home". I see above that the Thank You might be borked but I should have got the other on my first return to the nest, ya?

We've been looking into what might cause some people not to get the achievements "Thank You For Playing" and "Been There Done That" and are currently testing a fix.

If you want to give the fix a try right now then it's available as a beta in your Steam client. You'll be able to opt in by right clicking Copoka in your games library, choosing "Properties" and under the tab "Betas".

One thing I hadn't realised until after I completed my first playthrough was that I hadn't been paying close attention to the HUD showing the progress as I listened and collected trinkets. Might have been why I didn't the the last achievement at the end?

Just played through again and made sure to listen to EVERY conversation, in EVERY chapter, and once I got to the end I was awarded "Thank You For Playing".

Now just missing the "Home Sweet Home" achievement. No idea why that one doesn't pop...
