i have several controllers. xobox 360 wired works fine. xbox one elite doesn't work. i have yet to try a xbox 360 wireless solution, the steam controller and a dualshock 4. sadly the elite controller doesn't work. it's the newest one and superior to the others.

i tried the 360 controller with cable again today and it didn't work. maybe i had some controller companion profile active yesterday.

in many games the xone controllers don't work because of a messy implementation in windows 10.

but since my x360 controllers don't work as well:

it seems to me like this game suffers from the logitech problem. ,some games don't recognize the gamepads when you're using wireless logitech products. i don't bother unplugging all receivers , i just make myself a controller companion or rewasd profile. i have never ever seen a developer solve this problem. they always just recommend turning the logitech products off (yeah, right ... disabling the keyboad and mouse (essential pc components) for a GAME)

Best is, if you post this in the Devs Thread "Bug report & issues - please post them here!". I think in the future more controllers are supported. However, my Microsoft controller worked fine on Win 7 and 10.

actually, keyboard mouse should be enough as it is a PC game. It is ironic that in a PC game is complained about the messiest Console control. Perhaps we should complain about the missing keyboard mouse control on PS4 games.....:-)

xbox and xbox One wireless controller work on win7 and win 10 (both fully updated), having a wireless logitech keyboard (k800) and a wireless logitech gaming mouse (G700s) connected, it must be something more specific.

Are you really suggesting complaining about an advertised feature not working is the same as complainng about something nobody expects?

What makes something a PC game? Black Mirror may claim heritage from a PC game, but it was clearly designed primarily for consoles and I can't recall playing a 3rd person game where using a controller hasn't felt more natural than using mouse & keyboard and that's after completing all the early Tomb Raiders using the keyboard.

Mouse and keyboard has only ever really been the default for FPS and adventures even that wasn't right from the start.

I completely dont agree with you. Point and click system with using mouse was and still is natural for adventure games. For sure, it is not natural for consoles, which has only gamepad. But we are playing this game on computer, so we expect that coltrolling of this game will be useful for us. Why we should expect to use gamepad which is not natural controller for computers? For me, gamepads were usually natural only for sport games.
