Does that mean that you generally can't load savegames anymore - no matter how old they are?
Or is it impossible to load the latest 2-3 savegames (the ones in the chapel)?
Either way I suggest to look at the time-stamps of all savegames that has been created in the chapel. Then go to the savegamefolder
C:\Users\<YourWindowsUsername>\AppData\Local\bm
and delete the files matching the chapel savegame timestamps. Then enter the game again and try to load the latest savegame you created before you entered the chapel.
Played it at 4K not smooth on 1080Ti
Hhhmmmm
WSAD / gamepad controls are an unresponsive, jerky mess and no fun at all. Not only the character loves to slightly stuck at nearly anything, he even refuses to move on when going along walls/objects. Investigating spots really feels exhausting, at least, I cannot enjoy it.
Loading times are pretty high.
Camera placement is no fun most of the time, environment visibility/overview really is lacking.
QTE mechanics in an atmospheric/relaxing story driven adventure game? Wtf were you thinking?
Seriously as a day 1 (and former hyped) black mirror fan, my only reasonable answer to this game was to put it aside and wait (and hope) for some major fixes.
My gf couldn't resist tho, i have never heard her cursing in such short intervals in any other game before ;) Mostly controls btw.
I encountered the same issue with the candle and for a bit more context: this happened during the evening in the study (where and when the mansion model is found).
After a bit think about it, I bet the candly is gone after you finished this room and run away ;-) maybe this "candle state" is in the savegame if you save the game during in this room. It is not a big problem, but a bit strange. I did not need the candle in the game after this room.
but the missing achivemnts are sad.

The controls with mouse and keyboard are a catastrophe. But you muddle through anyway until... you get stuck. Once you look closer at the photo in chapter 2 you suddenly have that image with the chapel right under your nose with a Quick Time Event. A QTE, that for me did not react to any mouse clicks. Multiple reloads didn't help. Is it over now? Would be really annoying, as with all this struggling I got over the infamous 2 hours threshold and cannot request a refund anymore. Would be sitting here with a 30 bucks game that doesn't work. I'm slightly pissed right now.
Cheers
