Well, this isn't really a question but instead a question since you may have enough knowledge about the game's executable.

I've tried to change the keyboard configuration many times by rewriting the input keycodes, but I can't even find it. May you could help in this? Would be awesome since this is the only game I can't do this.

Sorry, this game is designed to play with gamepad, and keyboard is not fully supported, nor keyboard mapping too.

I know, I just said the keyboard buttons are nothing more than plain keycodes compiled in the .exe. While I can rewrite those in most games which doesn't support it, I can't find the keycode strings in SoulSaber. I thought you may know since you translated it. :)

There should be a separate exe for configuring the controllers. I never used one for PC games, I don't know how it works anyway.

Well...
I know that game is thought to get played by Gamepad wich works pretty good , but i would like to play with Mouse when i sit on my Desk . Is there really no mousesupport in all ? ( gone through the Menus and the Manual and couldnt find anything ) or am i just to stupid to find it ?
...Mousesupport is kinda standard for Pc -___-

The game's system was meant for this type of controls (much like WindomXP or Virtual-On). But I totally agree there should be some option to remap non-controller functions.

This game is designed for gamepads, and mouse is not useful at all.
If you want to confirm it, unplug gamepad, and type "M" in the gameplay, then mouse will be enabled.

How many points do you need to earn to unlock new characters. There doesn't seem to be anything to measure that.

Thanks a lot , yes that works perfectly fine for me on the desk , i dont actually think its not *not usefull* , but people are different . Playing on TV id prefer gamepad too , but on Desk mouse is more comfortable to me .

just sometimes the game shuts off while playing with mouse now , will have to check my keybindings to see what it causes.

The gameplay mimic the genre's great titles like Virtual-On. It would be possible to play with mouse effectively, but for example the bomber units gain way too much advantage from the lock on to be able to counter with mouse aim.

Dysnomia ExBurst, an another game from the genre have mouse control as default, but it has generally higher speed and projectile acceleration. Believe me that kind of gameplay is more suitable for mouse. :)

The videos seem blurry. Is that due to some extreme amount of bloom? If so, can that be toggled off?
