The only one drawback to harries is no ECM. I'd take them any day over regular Hornets.
I do wish we had the option of telling them how to land, but it's much less of an issue as it's pretty easy to move helicopters out of their way, and you can safely land 3 of them much more rapidly than you could any other strike aircraft.
Rest of the time they are great. I tend to under use them tho.
Harrier doesn't need to do a conventional landing on a carrier with their V/STOL capabilities.
But as in real life, in game, they're super useful and a good choice. Do wish they could perform ECM missions, but oh well.
