Apple Just Banned Afghanistan '11
Apple have just pulled Afghanistan '11 from the app store because its got "people from a specific government or other real entity as the enemies". You mean like every realistic game ever.... and people wonder why we don't do iOS anymore.

All that would do is get V65 banned too since it violates the same policy.

It's wierd that Apple limits itself in this way, since it took forever for it to become a fully accepted OS. People will turn to other platforms eventually, once they figure out how many games they can't play. I'd rather see a nation vs. nation game rather than a player vs. faceless corporation or something any day. This doesn't really affect the PC core though. I'm honestly amazed that people stick with Apple phones and tablets anyway. My sister in law can't send pics to family and friends, because she can't get her tablet to sync with a normal PC and doesn't have the ability to figure it out, I guess.

I don't think you understand Mac and iOS users if you think they'll switch platforms so that they can play Afghanistan '11. In my experience, they're mostly quite heavily committed to Apple and its products. You kinda have to be since you're cutting yourself off from the majority of your options in software and hardware.

Apple's salvation as a company came with the iPod, though, so it's a portables only market really, I've seen Mac users switch to PC. This only works for them as long as people don't have better options. They may have a solid base now, but as time goes on, not short term, lack of games and services will push some people away and in some cases prevent new people from entering the market. Raising your kid with an iPhone doesn't guarantee they will be iPhone customers when they grow up either. I get what you mean about iOS bias by existing users, but I still don't understand the people who are into those devices, so I get that I may be wrong. I guess it's like console vs. PC, and no I'm not trying to get that argument started, I'm just talking loyalty. Personally, I've always been leery of Apple, they just always gave me the creeps.

stick to android friends. I wish many of your pc ports would have been to android instead of apple instead.

Shouldn`t this be fiction? After all I win with NATO all the time and we all know that`s not the case....LOL.

I thought Apple was an American company. Guess not.

Apple don't care about their users. They pulled a load of 32 bit games off the store (Commander the Great War for one). Developers tried to get into the Market (and is why I bought the mini mainly because developers started doing boardgame conversons - neuroshima Hex etc). Development iand patching never keeps up with the PC (XCOM Enemy Within - stopped being playable on the Ipad Mini 4, CIV 6 still waiting on first expansion)
The weird thing is it's an expensive piece of kit but few of the users are willing to support the games when it is a pemium game.
I for one will be switching to the Nintendo Switch (or the next latest) when I upgrade my mobile game centre.
