If i am able to play 2 to 4 multiplayer I would buy the game instantly.
+1 for multi
+1 for multiplayer
I'd love to play with at least one friend!!! It would make the game twice as good!!!
I think giving players the choice to play together would be a good start. People who want MP can invite / join games, while solo players can switch off the ability for others to join.
Some random ideas:
Individual parental control (single password?) for each MP function / option;
An option to see / leave Dark Souls style messages (parental control for options can be restricted to pre-set ones, or free type, or none at all);
Parental controlled MP on / off / player ghosts / random join / invite only etc etc.);
Patental controlled communication for gestures only / preset messages / full text;
Parental controlled (you get the idea! XD) such and such;
If you intend to add romance, then the option to switch it off would be good;
Sharing items and resources;
Sharing the same boat;
Fishing together (from the same boat);
Co-op animal herding;
Taking photos of each other;
Taking selfies;
Playing music together with different instruments;
Just generally nice, friendly co-op fun with rainbows!
