can we craft clay pots?
It gets annoying when only 2 traders sell them and only 2 at a time.

Can you give me exact areas, whre to farm clay? Or must I buy it anywhere?
Please write me, where and how to get loads of clay, because you need it to build
stone-bridges, too! Many thanks and best regards to all who help here!

Any specific regions? What tool must I use (Pickaxe or bare hands?) ?

I think you use bare hands and I think all regions with lakes and rivers. It's been awhile since I've played the game.
