What animals can I adopt? How do farms work?

I got the groffle from the first farm tutorial; it hasn't told me anything about my farm since then. Is there more tutorial somewhere? Aside from another Groffle, I can't seem to keep any of the other animals at my farm (the red panda or beaver creatures). Basically what do I do with my farm at all besides adopt Groffles? How do I continue the farm storyline? I went to the carpenter town but didn't see anything.

No, you have to do all the rest by yourself. For each animal you have to build a pen, you get a small pen during the quest. If you built it and small animals are not aodopted, this is a bug...

Thanks, I will try again with the small animals. I kind of built the small pen after I brought the animal so maybe that's why it bugged.

Yeah, if you build when animal is already on your farm, you have to get him out and in yet again. And then you get adopt confirmation
