Sound Bug
So excited to play this game but I'm having some issues with sound! When I boot up the game there is very loud buzzing and audio glitches that I'm almost positive aren't supposed to be there. These are my specs. I also have a video of the issue but I'm not sure where I would upload that!

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2550K CPU @ 3.40GHz

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

RAM 16 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

update: here's a video of the bug

So I know of the issue you describe - it's caused by the audio engine not having enough CPU time to decode and create the audio. The thing is, I've only seen this on very low-end computers (below our min spec), so your specs definitely don't look like they should be having this problem.

I'm sorry, but just to make sure - are you running much in the background? e.g. before running the game, If you go into task manager (ctrl+shift+esc in windows), and go into the performance tab, is your CPU usage low or is it show a lot of work being done?

The cpu usage was very low. I changed the audio sampling rate and the problem was fixed!

Just a quick update, we've been into looking into any way we could solve this internally in the game, but no luck yet as it seems it may be out of our hands for the time being - however over in this thread, dreadbreadheadsteadmedfed (yes I typed that out) gives details on how to change the sampling rate:

Big props to you Mr. DreadBread :)
