Can't ring bell for Arcadian Ice

I need Arcadian Ice, but the bell won't show the icon that lets me ring it. I did ring it once, but didn't get any ice, probably because I hadn't released the sprite yet. Do I need to reset the quest or something?

OK, never mind. I went to see the sprite for the umpteenth time and this time they came with me and I got the ice, probably because I just put the sails on the catcher. Or maybe because I posted this, I dunno.
