I have a farm without a house
That seems kind of odd. Why would I build a barn and hire someone to look after it, if I didn't even have a house to live in?

By that logic you only need one farm since you only need one house to live in. Farms raise animals and trees/plants for products tom sell. You don't need to live there for a farm to be a farm, especially if you have hired hands handling things. Besides that you can't actually go inside or sleep anyway so you don't really need homes on any of them because your some sort of sleepless immortal.

I actually hate being a sleepless immortal. Well... I don't mind being immortal. :steamhappy: But I really would like to grow tired and need to sleep. There isn't much else limiting your character, since there are no threats at all on the island. (I can't say I mind having a game where I don't have to fight monsters.)

Getting back to the house, the farmhands need a place to bunk down, since they're listed as live-in farmhands or something like that. I suppose you could say that the gate house is supposed to be a house. It just seemed kind of tiny for that. On one of the other farms, there's a caravan. Not sure about the others.

I admit I'd at least like the option to sleep. I don't like running around in the dark all that much but it is refreshing not being forced to. If I want to stay up all night doing something it's great but it's sometimes annoying to not be able to skip the night.

As long as there's some sort of small structure a person in theory could get inside it seems fine I think. The farm hand doesn't necessarily live there(even though in game is always there), in lore they may have their own place and travel there to do the chores and care. So you and they may only need a small shelter for an occasional sleep over. One guy I hired was living at a camp fire near the farm before I hired him.

being able to run in the night is one of the best features of Yonder
