This is a sweet game. The developers are very active in the disscusion and still have plans for more content. I really suggest you peak around the forum and read what others have put up. I can't really do it justice in my time alloted, but many have commented on the pros and cons already. If you really love eye candy and a soothing experience, then you will love this game.

I'm not a big gamer, but I bought this game because it was on sale and it looked cute. Best 15 bucks I ever spent. This game is a blast! I don't know if you'd love it as much as I do, because we all have different preferences, but I'll tell you my thoughts on it anyway.
Pros: Beautiful world, so much fun to explore, you are rewarded for exploring with rare items in chests and finding cool things, 8 different biomes I think
Cute animals, you can feed them, bring them to your farm, and breed them
Fun little villages scattered throughout the land with different specialties in what they make and sell
The game is very relaxing but far from boring
There's so much freedom in what you can do and where you can go
The main story in the game is interesting
You can build multiple farms
You can join many different guilds that enable you to build lots of things
You can choose people to help you on your farm
There is sooo much to do its overwhelming but its great
No time limits for anything
You can't die (you can drown though but you just respawn with all your stuff)

Cons:
Fishing is really difficult and I find it very frustrating
Controls are difficult, for example, your character moves very quickly so it's hard to move them correctly when you're trying to maneuver your way up some rocks or along a cliff or when you're trying to pick up an item
The game's day and night cycle is way too fast. days and nights last 10 minutes each I believe, which I find annoying.
You can't fight/kill anything
