Faster Travel?

I am really enjoying the game so far but my biggest issue is travel is so insanely slow! Is there no way to easily travel between our farms and cities that we have visited? The sage stones require their own travel and aren't always in a conveinent location (not a city or farm, they're kind of no where), especially if I just want to do something quick before ending the game for the day or just want to pick up this one thing from a city across the map.

There is the Traveler's Knot. Go to your Crafting Menu and you'll be able to make those from 2 Vine and 1 Stone each. When you've made them, they will appear in your top bar along with other tools. When you've got it showing, Press F and you'll get a Menu of all the Farms you have come up and you'll be able to choose which Farm you want. You'll then magically teleport between Farms! I find this a very good way of travel.

Is there a quest that will explain this at some point in the game or do we just magically figure it out? LOL

Thanks everyone, the travel knots are awesome! I saw them before but for some reason thought it was some kind of rope you can attach between two destinations and couldn’t figure out why I should craft one.

there are also in every of the biomes the Sage Stones, so you can travel between all 8 biomes with their help, every Sage Stone comes with its own small quest
