I feel like this game is a Journey like but with a few tweaks to be less " contemplative "
I think more purpose would also appear if we had more choice, and effect on the world around us, like actions+consequences. Right now everything is useless because its a game without consequences. If you dont eat, nothing happens... i mean, we cant even eat hah. Yet in winter we start shaking. We can make hot milk since pretty much the very beginning so why isnt drinking that heating us up? (for example). All these details would make for a much more rich experience i think!
Fair, lol.
All games are "pointless", but there are those games that feel like they've wasted your time.
I personally don't feel like Yonder has wasted my time, but it's not a game for everyone. No game is for everyone.
